No hay wifi.
Recupera la wifi tras flashear con firm de danitool.
Bootlog enviado a noltari por privado.

He encontrado otro diseño de interfaz rs232 ttl. Es bastante parecido al "tiny 3 wire" de Giskard. En éste la novedad es que las cuatro resistencias son iguales. Parece que vale tanto para 5 como para 3.3V. En cuanto lo monte y lo pruebe os comento.

No se si estoy entendiendo bien el significado de autodetección de mac, te explico las pruebas que he hecho..

He editado el archivo /etc/config/wireless y le he comentado la linea donde pone macaddr (supongo que debería detectar la mac el solo y por tanto esa linea no sirve para nada) quedando así:

Tienes que flashear desde cero y se supone la MAC se pone igual que la que tiene el wifi con el firmware de serie.

Los firmware anteriores tenían una fija que empezaba por 6A. Si pusieras dos routers en la misma red con esta MAC no funcionarían :-)

Cuando hayas flasheado puedes ver la MAC en el fichero wireless como bien estás haciendo.

Ponme el bootlog si eres tan amable si no te funciona... gracias!

A ver.. no encuentro donde descargar el firmware original que venía por defecto en el router,

el que he encontrado es este: http://forum.vodafone.ie/index.php?/topic/2111-huawei-hg556a-software-update/

está en ingles y el SSID es distinto, NO es del tipo vodafoneXXXX, asi que no se si servirá pero bueno

con el firmware de vodafone la mac es 6A:C0:6F:XX:XX:XX

con tu firmware de Openwrt la mac es 6A:A8:E4:XX:XX:XX

He llegado tarde a casa, y se me ha hecho imposible hacer pruebas, mañana a ver si se tercia el día y pruebo la autodetección mac.

Puedes verlo de muchas formas, conectandote como cliente te debe aparecer por Luci la Mac del Wireless, o en la tabla DHCP del router Wifi Madre, deberías ver la IP del openwrt + su mac.

La mac original del router está detrás en una pegatina.

Sobre prueba, lo que queráis menos por serie

, Atheros openwrt (con wifi), y ralink openwrt.

Una pena la decisión de danitool de desaparecer de la "scene"

Tengo que hacer pruebas con estos openwrt + modem yoigo USB. Hacen un buen router pagando 9€ por 1gb mensual.

No hagas las pruebas mirando la mac que viene detras del router porque esa es la mac de la red lan, la que nos interesa es la del wifi, lo mas facil es mirar con airodump-ng, primero con el firmware de vodafone y luego con openwrt, y las comparas.
