Noltari, vete contándonos cómo va lo del tema del wifi 'antiguo' vs 'nuevo'.
Crees que aceptaran los parches y finalmente este router tendrá soporte 'oficial' ?

Crees que aceptaran los parches y finalmente este router tendrá soporte 'oficial' ?

Mientra compilaba el firmware para el colega raphik me he metido al irc buscando respuestas para el tema del wifi. He preguntado al master del ath9k (nbd) y ha llegado a la conclusión de que podría ser un tema de "endiannes" al leer la eeprom de la flash.
Ahora mismo estoy compilando un firmware con el flag de la comprobación de endian activada. Si os funciona sólo faltarían los parches del ralink, para lo que tendría que preguntar a jogo sobre cual es la forma más correcta de hacerlo.

El tema de los canales, lo sigue llevando mal. Aunque lo pongas en Japón, sigue mostrando únicamente 11 (cuando debieran ser 14). Pero vamos, eso son menudencias  ;D

El problema es que ciertos canales están prohibidos en algunos países, y de hecho ya le ha caído alguna que otra multa a la comunidad openwrt por ese motivo en el pasado. Así que no van a aceptar ningún parche de manera oficial que juegue con eso :$...
Sin embargo, una vez que acepten los parches imagino que podría hacer compilaciones personalizadas de vez en cuando saltándome la limitación.

EDIT:
Sobre el tema de los canales tengo que decir que danitool forzaba el regdomain a 0xFF, pero me temo que la política de openwrt es muy estricta en ese sentido.
El problema es que ciertos canales están prohibidos en algunos países, y de hecho ya le ha caído alguna que otra multa a la comunidad openwrt por ese motivo en el pasado. Así que no van a aceptar ningún parche de manera oficial que juegue con eso :$...
Sin embargo, una vez que acepten los parches imagino que podría hacer compilaciones personalizadas de vez en cuando saltándome la limitación.

Sí, se pueden hacer compilaciones como siempre con el parche para el svn que he puesto.
Para aplicarlo recuerdo que hay que copiar el parche a la raíz de openwrt y ejecutar el siguiente comando:
patch -p0 -i hw556_svn_atheros.patch

Declaro el atheros funcional 100% ;). Gracias a todos por las pruebas, en especial a jar229 y a raphik :D.

Estoy disponible para Pruebas.
Ralink y Atheros, pero todavía sin Serial.
Yo necesito que instales el último firmware en el ralink y me mandes una copia de la partición mtd4 por privado.

Hola tengo atheros y me es imposible tener ping hacia el router cuando meto este .bin, he probado el anterior y tambien ocurre lo mismo..

Reseteo con 20 segundos
recibo ping de 192.168.1.1
abro el navegador hacia 192.168.1.1 selecciono el bin se reinicia automaticamente y recivo 3 ping se cortanm los ping y se acabo la conexion.

hago algo mal direccion de red o algo mal?

Si intento meter el de vodafone o el .bin de la primera pajina carga correcto.


He intentado tambien cargar el .bin desde la interface grafica y me dice ...que no es un arvivo adecuado o algo asi. :'(

Hola tengo atheros y me es imposible tener ping hacia el router cuando meto este .bin, he probado el anterior y tambien ocurre lo mismo..

Reseteo con 20 segundos
recibo ping de 192.168.1.1
abro el navegador hacia 192.168.1.1 selecciono el bin se reinicia automaticamente y recivo 3 ping se cortanm los ping y se acabo la conexion.

hago algo mal direccion de red o algo mal?

Si intento meter el de vodafone o el .bin de la primera pajina carga correcto.


He intentado tambien cargar el .bin desde la interface grafica y me dice ...que no es un arvivo adecuado o algo asi. :'(
Lo más probable es que se trate de un modelo del cual no tenía constancia a la hora de hacer la detección.

Necesito que me pases un bootlog del firmware oficial:
No sé si en el oficial se pueden escribir archivos en la carpeta /www pero inténtalo:
dmesg > /www/dmesg.txt
Luego en el navegador http://192.168.1.1/dmesg.txt

Si no te deja pues haz un dmesg y copia el output, pero lo más probable es que perdamos la información relevante.

Lo ideal en este caso sería obtener un bootlog por cable serial...


EDIT: No había leído lo de que con el firmware de la primer página carga correcto:
Instala el firmware de la primera página.

Envíame un bootlog y un backup del cfe a noltari@gmail.com.

telnet 192.168.1.1

Para el bootlog:

Para el cfe:
