Hola a todos,

Estoy buscando un firmware con el CFE 1.0.37-102.1-5 (actualmente el router tiene el CFE 1.0.37-102.1-2) y los enlaces que he visto en el hilo ya no funcionan.

¿Alguien podría pasarme un firmware que contenga el CFE 1.0.37-102.1-5 por favor?

Muy buenas y antes todo gracias por todos los años de resolverme dudas sin tener que llegar a preguntar pero ahora seguro que la primera pregunta que hago es de NOOB total...

tengo este router como secundario en FIBRA óptica... osea el negro conectado a la fibra optica y de hay uno de red al 5813n

Me viene con este fimrware WAP-5813n-P401-402TLF-C02_R35

Y bien mis preguntas son

¿Puedo instalar OpenWrt sin problemas?

Si la respuesta es si... ¿ Puedo hacer que el wifi y los cables de red siga funcionando como asta ahora (que mis equipos se conecten sin problemas), mejorara la señal de wifi porque es pésima ahora mismo?

Se que son preguntas de noobs pero tengo esas dudas antes de seguir con este que por cierto me llama mucho la atención.

Hello,

I was so interested about this, because our country (Lithuania) Internet Provider “TEO” also distributes “Comtrend WAP-5813n” router’s.

So I want to install to router OpenWrt version.

But I have a problem, which I cannot solve.

When I’m trying to load openwrt-WAP-5813n-squashfs-cfe.BIN, router reboots and remains unchanged (in another words – it lefts the same).
I tried to connect with “HyperTerminal” software via Serial to the router and see what happens.
When I load openwrt-WAP-5813n-squashfs-cfe.BIN, router reports about an error:
"CFE> Illegal 4,194,304th image size Image size must not be Greater than 4,062,976th"
and then reboots.

As I understand Bootloader has Firmware size limit?
Can you advise me, how to remove it? Or maybe the problem is somewhere else?

I tried to upload P401-402TLF-C04_R09 Firmware. Router starts and work normal, but after trying to load openwrt-WAP-5813n-squashfs-cfe.bin still has an error.

Have you checked if the flash size of your WAP is the same as the ones distributed in Spain?
If it only has 4MB then you have the answer, but if not, you will have to take a closer look to the CFE and the bootlog to see what is going on.

Antes de nada gracias por todo el trabajo que haceis hace tiempo que os leo.

Al final me anime a poner OpenWrt en el router y me surge la duda de si es posible y como se podria hacer funcionar al router en .11n para que de tasas de transferencia superiores a 54mbps.

Bueno pues creo que me quede sin router, trasteando trasteando cambie la configuración poniendo DHCP donde no debia y ahora no tengo puerta de enlace para entrar al router y no se cual es la manera (si exise) de poder entrar o restaurar la configuración para poder cambiar la configuración.

Necesito ayuda !!

Solucionado !!

Al fin pude entrar via telnet

Ya solo me falta la velocidad en .11n

Solucionado el .11n, buceando por los foros encontré otra compilación con drivers mejorados.

Is there some opportunity to make smaller size of Firmware?

Perdonad por la pregunta ******, pero...

¿Los Openwrt del primer post están preconfigurados para Movistar? Es que recuerdo que hace meses había uno llamado r35310_movistar (que es el que tengo), y ahora no veo nada de Movistar en ese primer enlace?

¿Funciona ya el WIFI en modo N?

¿Funciona la TV?

Trasteando me he dado cuenta de que en la configuración del wifi hay un problema, resulta que sin activar marca el bitrate a 300, al activarlo cae a 144 y cuando se conecta algun cliente cae a 54.

Por más vueltas que le doy no consigo dar con el fallo alguien me puede dar una solución

300Mbps es el máximo teórico de los dos canales que tiene la tarjeta. 144 es la velocidad de un canal, si quieres obtener los 300 tendrás que conectar con un cliente con dos canales. Los 54Mbps seguramente sea porque el cliente no es totalmente compatible con la wifi del router o porque el driver de la wifi del router no soporta el protocolo n. ¿Qué driver estás usando? El b43 no soporta n.
