En el apartado LAN tienes mal configuradas un par de cosas

En gateway debes poner 192.168.1.1 (en lugar de 192.168.100.1 )
Máscara de red 255.255.255.0 (en lugar de 255.255.240.0 )

Qué compilación estás usando ?

EDITO: en la 5ª captura que has puesto, en el apartado WWAN te sigue saliendo un IP pública  ^-^

aver el gateway es 192.168.100.1 por que es el de mi router principal y la mascara de red tambien es 255.255.240.0 en mi router principal y que sepa no habia que poner en estos dos apartados los mismo que mi router principal?, bien pero pa la wwan como le pongo una ip fija? que se la pueda escribir yo y guardarlo, de todas formas ya te digo por cable si tengo internet se va cuando activo la red repetidora. Tengo la ultima compilacion que posteaste jar pues tenia una cocon todo para usbs pero nose a veces se ponia lento el router asique eti esta. hg556a_backport_12.09-luci.zip

Tienes un lío bastante gordo. La parte LAN, no tiene nada que ver con la de tu router principal (los equipos van a estar en dos subredes distintas).
Si estás usando el backport a backfire, para que te funcione el modo repetidor, tienes que desactivar la WiFi y volverla a activar.

Pero sigo diciendo que me resulta muy raro que en WWAN recibas una IP pública. Creo que sigues sin tener bien configurado el router de Ono  ... :-\

Y este tema debería ser tratado en el hilo pertinente. Si vuelves a postear  aquí tratando del modo/cliente/repetidor te lo borraré sin más ... :o

He posteado donde dices, ya no lo hago mas aqui pa eso que los correos me llega la respuesta en este tema por eso segui contestando aqui, solo una cosa tambien tengo un par de routers o nose que son, se que se usaban pa repetir señales en un colegio pero no se utilizarlos

Son estos dos me sevirian para algo? y mas de alguna vez intente utilizarlos como indican sus manuales pero nada... y se que es por mi torpeza como al principio con el router este de vodafone que pensaba que ya lo habia jodido bien y no era nada.

Hola buenas noches a todos, Gracias de antemano, ya que creo que hago bien en postear aquí, sino mis disculpas al moderador (soy un poco nuevo en esto) :)
Os escribo porque hace unos días instale adsl de Telefónica en mi casa (4 plantas de altura), el problema que tengo es el siguiente: Yo antes tenia VF y tengo el router HG556a (Ver. A) con chipset Ralink. El router de Movistar esta en el salón (Planta 4ª) y el HG556A en la (Planta 1ª), tiene instalado ya el Openwrt r36114 y en el puerto usb una antena AWVS036NH que me autorecomende porque por lo que e leído este modelo de router no envía y recibe a la vez (corregidme si me equivoco). El tema es que el Openwrt me reconoce la antena pero al ponerla en modo cliente directamente se apaga y no encuentra la red. ¿Que estoy haciendo mal? Repito Gracias de antemano, llevo muchos días con esto desde las sombras y al final necesito vuestra ayuda  :-\

masuele: los dos equipos que comentas, permiten ampliar una red wifi, usando WDS.

zanuksi: has probado a usar la wifi interna del hg556a como cliente, y la ralink en modo AP ?

Has probado los otros dos puertos USB ?

Pon la salida del dmesg por aquí, a ver si vemos algo ...  ^-^

la verdad tengo el dmesg copiado pero como lo añado para no estropearte el hilo (sea una ventana aparte o algo parecido, porque como spoiler no me lo coloca), gracias!

OK, si e probado en los 3 con el mismo resultado. Lo extraño es que cuando pongo en modo cliente la interna del HG556a también me la des habilita le doy a enable la reinicia pero no consigue conectar. Madre mía que desesperación!!!

Al final e conseguido conectar con la compilacion actual, con un simple reset y cambiando al usb trasero fue suficiente. El problema es que el wifi del router no emite, tan solo me da conexion por Lan, a que puede ser debido. Mil gracias de corazon!!

Yo probría con la compilación que te comenté anteriormente.
En modo cliente tampoco te funciona la wifi ?
No te estarás liando con la configuración ?

Hola.

Un problemilla:
Llevo unos dias intentado reinstalar el Openwrt en el HG556a, y siempre me falta algo:
- He probado  igual que cuando el kernel er 3.3.8, pero con el firm R36114, con el R35318 y con el trunk... pero los repositorios ya han cambiado a kernel 3.8 y no admite lo de la impresora.
- Y he probado tambien con el firm de attitude adjustment 12.09 y con el trunk... pero ahí el problema es con la wifi, que no aparece.

- ¿Alguna solución, o teneis previsto alguna versión con el kernel actual?

Esta es mi secuencia de instalación ahora

2.- Instalar imagen (interfaz web) "openwrt-HW556-squashfs-cfe_20130521.bin"
3.- Acceder por telnet
4.- Asignar password y modificar ip y gateway, y reiniciar network
5.- Conectar por SSH
6.- Modificar el dns: vi /etc/resolv  .. 8.8.8.8
7.- Reiniciar network: /etc/init.d/network restart
8.- opkg install luci (y baja un montón de cosas)
9- /etc/init.d/uhttpd start
10.- /etc/init.d/uhttpd enable
11.- Conectar por web (ha cambiado a tipo "bootstrap")

(Nota: La opción de compilar la he probado hoy por primera vez en la ofi, que tengo máquina, pero me da error. Y en casa el portátil dijo "hasta la vista babe" y con el AMD K7 va a ser que no puedo hacer muchas pruebas de compliación.)

Como tu router tiene wifi atheros, yo usaría el backport a backfire: http://www.mediafire.com/?0d6x4ozbmvfr59o

Esta compilación incluye: LuCi, FPU emulation, transmission, ftp, servidor de impresión, samba, usb-storage, etc.

Con esta no tendrás problemas para instalar nuevos paquetes dependientes del kernel.

Me resulta raro que no te funciones el backport a attitude adjustment  ^-^

Hola.

Un problemilla:
Llevo unos dias intentado reinstalar el Openwrt en el HG556a, y siempre me falta algo:
- He probado  igual que cuando el kernel er 3.3.8, pero con el firm R36114, con el R35318 y con el trunk... pero los repositorios ya han cambiado a kernel 3.8 y no admite lo de la impresora.
- Y he probado tambien con el firm de attitude adjustment 12.09 y con el trunk... pero ahí el problema es con la wifi, que no aparece.

- ¿Alguna solución, o teneis previsto alguna versión con el kernel actual?

Esta es mi secuencia de instalación ahora

1.- Descargar imagen nueva
2.- Instalar imagen (interfaz web) "openwrt-HW556-squashfs-cfe_20130521.bin"
3.- Acceder por telnet
4.- Asignar password y modificar ip y gateway, y reiniciar network
5.- Conectar por SSH
6.- Modificar el dns: vi /etc/resolv  .. 8.8.8.8
7.- Reiniciar network: /etc/init.d/network restart
8.- opkg install luci (y baja un montón de cosas)
9- /etc/init.d/uhttpd start
10.- /etc/init.d/uhttpd enable
11.- Conectar por web (ha cambiado a tipo "bootstrap")

Te falta instalar los drivers y activar la wifi.
Sigue los pasos que publico el compañero raphik y perfecto.

1) Instalas la imagen squashfs del trunk.
2) Instalas LuCI.
3) Desde LuCI instalas kmod-ath9k si es Atheros o kmod-rt2800-pci si es Ralink.
4) Desde una sesión SSH tecleas: wifi detect > /etc/config/wireless.
5) Otra vez desde LuCI instalas libiwinfo-lua y wpa-supplicant-mini.

como ya comente anteriormente queria usar un 556a solamente como radio wifi... me dan ganas de coger el router y tirarlo por la ventana para hacer una prueba de resistencia a la altura
Ya tengo la radio wifi funcionando ¡a partir del firmware básico del trunk! ¿Cómo? :
1) Instalas la imagen squashfs del trunk.
2) Instalas LuCI.
3) Desde LuCI instalas kmod-ath9k si es Atheros o kmod-rt2800-pci si es Ralink.
4) Desde una sesión SSH tecleas: wifi detect > /etc/config/wireless.
5) Otra vez desde LuCI instalas libiwinfo-lua y wpa-supplicant-mini.

Y luego sigues las instrucciones para montar la radio en su hilo correspondiente.

Al final opté por la solución de locobyte con la trunk, por eso de intentar ir "a la última" (cada x meses)
Jar229: ¿Puedes explicar que es eso de "backport" a backfire? ¿Significa que el repositorio lo mantienen con todos los packetes sin sobre-escribir con versiones de kernels mas nuevos? (Soy de windows, y el Openwrt me ha servido para atreverme con linux)

Backfire es una de la revisiones estables.
Y sí, si instalas el backport, podrás bajar los paquetes que quieras del repositorio de OpenWrt sin ningún problema de compatibilidad con el kernel.

La tengo funcionando en un router, con wifi ralink, perfectamente.

Yo no tengo ninguna usb wifi con ralink 3070, pero como poco, debería funcionarte la wifi interna ...
