bueno eso mismo colegas resulta que tengo un router dlink 2100ap y quiero instalar en el openwrt, tengo todo los materiales necesarios.

completamente todos solo me falta saber los pasos adecuando con putty porque lo e intentado y no me sale en la ventana de putty lo que debería salirme si hago los pasos bien correcto, y aun no lo consigo

según el manual que sigo estos son los pasos que tengo que hacer pero antes tengo que hacerlo bootear y no lo e conseguido

estas son unas imagenes de como tengo que colocar todo y como dije tengo todo en mano solo me falta hacerlo bootear

tambien tengo todo los archivos que tengo que cargar después de que pueda hacerlo bootear

y la configuración con putty es esta a la hora de intentar hacer mi equipo bootear pero no lo consigo

una ves doy en open en putty me dice el manual que presione ESC pero no consigo ver que el equipo empiece a bootear

Veo los cables del puerto serie al revés.

Fíjate en que el CP2102 no tiene TX, RX, sino TXD y RXD.

Tki2000: al parecer mi CP2102 es chino como dices tu en el post, ahora desde que lo inverti ya si logro bootear

bueno ya el router esta de ladrillo lo único que me salva es que tengo el CP2102 para poder repararlo
creo que el error lo cometí porque la versión del manual es dwl2100eu a4

y la mia es dwl2100na a4 y antes de hacerlo había visto en otro foro que. estos dos archivos

redboot220.img
redboot220.bin

deben ser elegidos dependiendo de el modelo para que no se quedara de ladrillo
pero no pensé que dwl2100eu a4 y dwl2100na a4 me iría a pasar eso
porque en comun tenian la version a4 jaja no se si tenga sentido!

ya que el error paso en el proceso cuando cargue el redboot220.bin y ejecute el reset para volver a tener el RedBoot>
y seguir con los demás comandos y lo que conseguí fue un [Boot]: ya que cuando di en reset el equipo empezó a hacer loqueras
repetidas y conseguí el [Boot]: asustado pensando que si volvía a presionar ESC dañara el router d-link

y todo esto es el proceso hasta que le puso de ladrillo incluyendo la loquera se que le metió cuando ejecute el primer reset sin éxito

En el anterior proceso, se ve que formateas la flash, pero no que sobreescribas el RedBoot. Es normal que se le haya ido la pinza... has escrito el RedBoot en donde debieras haber escrito el OpenWrt...
Si no te has cargado el RedBoot original y puedes arrancarlo, trata de hacer todo el proceso de nuevo, pero FÍJATE BIEN EN LO QUE HACES.
El fichero redboot220, lo debes escoger, dependiendo de la marca y modelo de la flash que tenga el router. Míralo con el router abierto.
Léete bien el paso para sustituir el RedBoot en la página wiki. Es el paso que contiene fis create RedBoot, y que no has puesto...

Cuidado al sustituir el RedBoot. Si no lo haces bien, y te lo cepillas, tendrás que recuperar el router con JTAG.

haber dices que debí escribir el openwrt donde escribí el RedBoot, osea que tengo que hacer un paso que hice primero antes que el otro?
cuando me dices eso, e entendido que me dices que sustituyas los pasos del manual uno antes que otro, es así o me equivoco?

y sobre el RedBoot al que me as dicho que no escribi te hago la siguiente pregunta, cuando cargue el redboot220.img este despues de cargarlo usando el tftp32 mas las instrucciones del comando para cargar el archivo a la memoria

ahora te digo lo siguiente, con miedo de eso que me has dicho de que tendré que recuperarlo desde el JTAG. si cometo otro error!

en la pagina de openwrt e encontrado otra manual al cual vi antes que este, del que me estoy guiando ahora, e incluso logre instalar openwrt en un dir-300 A1, pero este lo hice fue por medio de telnet usando el puerto 9000,

entonces e visto que este manual que seguí para instalar el openwrt en el dir-300 A1 es casi idéntico al que te digo que encontré en la misma pagina de openwrt para instalar openwrt en el d-link 2100ap A4

y justo en ese mismo manual están los archivos que te dije que hay que elegir para el redboot con mucho cuidado

donde dice Vendor y Type busque datos parecido a eso en el d-link 2100ap a4 y no veo nada parecido para identificar cual redboot de esos es el adecuado para mi incluso le di a cada link para ver si en las descargas en la pagina me daba alguna indicación o sera que no soy capaz de darme cuenta porque real mente esto en nuevo para mi por medio de esta manera instalar algún firmware!

desde que lo consigo hago lo me que indicaste, escribir openwrt primero que el redboot solo confirmame a que redboot te refieres de los 2 redboot220.img o redboot220.bin

quiero saberlo solo para aclarar las ideas y entender mas y aprender mas

una pregunta mas que se me ocurre ahora mismo ese redboor220.img formatea la memoria es? así que por ende te refieres al redboot220.bin el cuando tengo que escribir después de escribir el openwrt?

Dado que no dijiste de dónde habías sacado el "manual", supuse que era de la página oficial. No puedo saber lo que piensan los demás si no lo dicen. Así que no sé a qué manual te refieres.

Antes te viene la forma de preparar los parámetros y seleccionar el fichero. Puede que tengas que ajustar la IP a la tuya. Lee la página con detenimiento.

El error de tftp te lo da porque no has tecleado bien atheros

ahora si que se daño creo yo! porque e ejecutado lo que me as dicho que faltaba y luego di en y para confirmar y después en reset y se han apagado todas las luces del router y lan no muestra estar encendida por tener en este momento conectado el rj45 desde el pc al router

se daño lo desconecte y intente presionando ESC y no hace nada.
apenas me fijo bien y solo brota una pequeña luz insignificante que se apaga inmediatamente cuando conecto la fuente de alimentación
y ni siquiera entro a bootear

porque me pase de bruto leo que me lo dices confirmado de que tengo que escribir el openwrt antes que el redboot no lo hice así llevándome del manual que descargue de esa pagina, y obviamente si no tiene nada escrito adentro no puedo esperar que bootee si formatie la flash y le escribo un redboot.

ese manual de esa pagina se va lamber muchos router de este modelo

bueno solo me queda intentar repararlo por el JTAG, como me dijiste posterior mente

en la wiki esta el manual por el JTAG, pero no se como entrar por ese tipo de método

No sé por qué opnias que un sitio que requiere suscripción es "oficial" de openwrt.
A mí me pide credenciales para descargar un archivo. Yo no doy mis credenciales "a lo loco", así que no sé qué pone ese tutorial.

Lo que has puesto es "parecido" a lo que contiene el tutorial oficial, pero no sé decirte si es equivalente o no. La variable %{FREEMEMLO} puede tener otro contenido que no sea el 0x80041000, que has puesto manualmente. Además te advierte de que la imagen que transfieres NO LA ESTÁ CARGANDO EN LA RAM.

¿Te aseguraste de que la imagen de RedBoot coincidía con el chip de flash que tiene el router? No se me ocurre otra cosa...

Una de dos, o sobreescribiste con 0 todo el RedBoot, porque la dirección de carga de redboot.img no estaba en la RAM (como te advierte) para luego escribirla en la flash (fis create RedBoot), o el fichero redboot.img no era el correcto. Yo me inclino por la primera opción...

En ese estado no queda más remedio que recuperarlo por JTAG o desoldar la flash y reprogramarla externamente.

En la wiki tienes los pasos para recuperarlo por JTAG. >>> D-Link DWL-2100AP <<<

Necesitas un interfaz JTAG para conectarlo al router. Es otra cosa distinta al CP2102. En la wiki te muestra cómo hacer uno con el puerto de impresora de un PC.

Sí, ése es el puerto.
Sobre JTAG estoy pato, así que no te puedo aconsejar...

Si consigues ponerle el redboot con el jtag, tendrás otra vez funcional el puerto serie y podrás rehacer lo anterior.
En esto yo ya no te puedo ayudar más... $:-\$
