Hola.... solo quería preguntar:
¿Se podría entonces usar este router como BRIDGE? Basicamente lo que querría es extender la señal WiFi a los equipos conectados por cable...

Entonces ya podemos usar las versiones trunk para compilar para este router?, ya no es necesario tirar del repositorio 14.04 que teneis aqui?

Edit: Uff, acabo de compilar usando la ultima version trunk y esto esta muy verde. Para empezar en la version trunk parece que algunos paquetes estan desaparecidos como es el ntfs-3g y el soporte para zram en el kernel aun asi he tirado para alante. Una vez compilado e instalado lo primero que me encuentro es que la wifi no va (en principio LuCi parece detectarla pero luego no se puede levantar la interfaz y mucho menos scanear) y lo peor de todo, despues de un reboot se vuelve a los valores de fabrica.

Entonces ya podemos usar las versiones trunk para compilar para este router?, ya no es necesario tirar del repositorio 14.04 que teneis aqui?

Edit: Uff, acabo de compilar usando la ultima version trunk y esto esta muy verde. Para empezar en la version trunk parece que algunos paquetes estan desaparecidos como es el ntfs-3g y el soporte para zram en el kernel aun asi he tirado para alante. Una vez compilado e instalado lo primero que me encuentro es que la wifi no va (en principio LuCi parece detectarla pero luego no se puede levantar la interfaz y mucho menos scanear) y lo peor de todo, despues de un reboot se vuelve a los valores de fabrica.
Está todo en el foro, sólo hace falta buscar...

Estoy usando el repositorio que viene configurado por defecto, asi que ese no deberia ser el problema.

Lo de la wifi no estaba seguro de si el trunk ya traia los parches o no, por el mensaje que pusiste, imagino que aun no por la fecha de los mensajes.

Y lo de que no conserva los cambios, fallo mio por no leer el FAQ :(, perdon.

Probada y la wifi no funciona, el driver brcmsmac no carga, con el driver broadcom-wl si funciona (aunque a mi no me vale por lo que comento aqui ya que yo lo quiero en modo cliente).

Para este router, tal y como dice noltari, creo que no queda otra que usar el propietario (o b43).

Vale, ya me parecia raro ya que hasta donde tengo entendido todos los drivers deberian soportar trabajar en modo cliente y efectivamente, usando el driver kmod-brcm-wl como ya estaba haciendo acaba funcionando, lo que pasa es que asocia cuando le da la gana, unas veces asocia nada mas reiniciar la wifi, otras tarda muchisimo tiempo y otras no asocia directamente.

No se donde puede estar el problema...

Nueva compilación a partir del repositorio Barrier Breaker 14.07-rc3

Barrier Breaker 14.04SMP activado (soporte multicore), FPU Emulation, LuCi, cifsmount, wol, samba, ftp, htop, screen, soporte ext2-3-4, ntfs y vfat, soporte para impresoras, hdidle, wifi brcm-wl ,

Editado: añadida compilación con un mejor rendimiento del apartado wifi

me he metido en la wiki para recuperarlo por serial port pero las fotos ya no estan disponible con los ppuntos de soldaduras.

las podrias volver a subir o poner un enlace con ellas.
