Bueno tengo un problemilla, leyendo los post referentes a tarjetas broadcom, creí entender que en la version 4.1 estaban incluidos los drivers. Yo tengo una broadcom 43222 y cuando carga el wifislax 4.1 no me reconoce la tarjeta y mo me deja ponerla en modo monitor. No tengo ni idea de linux por lo que por mas que lo intento no encuentro utilidades dentro del wifislax para ver que es lo que esta mal. Si alguien puede echarme una mano estaría muy agradecido. El ordenador que utilizo es el toshiba a80 y la tarjeta no venia de serie.

Abre una consola y pon iwconfig y lspci (si es un tarjeta integrada en el ordenador) o lsusb (si es un adaptador conectado por USB) luego pega aquí las respuestas a ambos comandos.

De paso modifica el título cambiando "la tarjeta wifi" por "Broadcom 43222", el título es mucho más descriptivo de la segunda forma.

que yo sepa, las BCM4350 no van en el kernel que calza WS41, a no ser que el driver broadcom-sta, que es ajeno al codigo oficial del kernel de linux, haya sido incluido manualmente y configurado en UDEV por agun miembro del equipo de desarrollo, cosa que desconozco debido a mi periodo de ausencia.

de lo que comentas no he hecho nada.

la tarjeta parece estar hay , por que sale en el lspci.

tal vez falte el firmware.

nada mas arrancar sin tocar ni conectar nada , lo primero abre una shell..y escribe

dmesg

y copianos el contenido.

te informo ademas de que estmos en desarrollo de wifislax 4.2 con un kernel un poco mas nuevo en su beta 7

Bueno, como habeis liberado wifislax 4.2 la he probado por si acaso y el resultado ha sido el mismo hasta que mas o menos en dos minutos se ma ha quedado congelado y no me respondia el ratón.

Pues eso que dices es raro... Podrías hacer alguna prueba más? El sistema no debería bloquearse en nigún caso. Puedes probar otros modos de inicio?

Pues tu me dirás que quieres que pruebe, he iniciado en modo auto y en modo vesa y en los dos me pasa, luego en modo ati y en modo nvidia y no llega a cargar, me imagino que porque mi gráfica si no estoy equivocado es intel.
