Resulta que me iba perfecto el router huawei hg556a, con openwrt usaba este software:

r39304usb.openwrt-HW556-squashfs-cfe

Pero desde que actualizao a chaos chalmer 15.05.1 pues no aparece el icono de wifi ni nada para configurarlo alguno me puede decir como instalarlo o como puedo recuperar el wifi??

Antiguamente cuando he actualizado a dicha version a salido solo sin instalar drivers ni paquete asi que es rarisimo que pase esto...

Tambien hice lo del post 1 con su correspondiente.

mtd -r erase cal_data

se reinicio y despues lo de mas arriba y despues apague el router dejandolo presionado y cargue el firware 15.05.1 chaos calmer ultimo para la version B siempre me aparecido el wifi pero estas veces no me aparece y es raro

¿Has comprobado que el chip que has utilizado para "restaurar" la partición, sea el que tiene tu router? Porque si no es, te lo has cepillado... Utiliza el fichero adecuado para recuperar la partición.

He visto una foto con el router desmontado y era el mismo no puedo desmontar el router por que trae 2 placas de metal y no puedo quitarla pero estoy casi seguro que es ese.

Lo he instalado y funciona el wifi perfectamente vamos aparece la luz de wifi.

Pero se queda parpadeando el icono de encendido y la bola de internet no aparece sale apagada.

Como te digo siempre que he actualizado o reinstalado a 15.05 me a ido a la primera no entiendo por que esta perdida de el wifi de repente....

La "bola de internet" no sé si debe de aparecer encendida en esta compilación.
El icono de encendido se quedará parpadeando durante el primer formateo. Tarda un rato. ¿Cuánto tiempo has esperado?
Pero vamos, que lo que me interesaba era saber si te funcionaba la wifi o no con esa compilación.
Si te funciona, no te has cargado la partición cal_data.
Sospecho que la imagen 15.05.1 no tiene los drivers wifi incorporados, para ese router. Digo sospecho, porque no la he probado, y las 3 imágenes de las diferentes versiones ocupan lo mismo... Raro si tienen drivers diferentes...
Si pusieras un log del arranque del kernel, podríamos verlo. En Luci -> Estado -> Kernel Log, o en SSH, con dmesg.

Haciendo ese comando sigue dando el mismo error en el arranque he intentado de todo

No veo la wifi por ningún lado.
Instala los drivers.
Creo que es kmod-ath9k.

iTroNk, llegaste a solucionar el problema con la actualización que instalaste, me gustaría actualizar el mio pero no se si perderé los drivers como te paso a ti...

Ahora mismo me funciona pero me gustaría actualizarlo a la 15.05.1
