Hola compañeros.
Tengo por aqui un TPLink TL-WDR3600 ver1.5 aparentemente muerto.
Al darle al boton de encendido se encienden por un momento todos los leds pero solo se queda encendido el led de "power" y no responde a nada.

Estoy siguiendo este post de SinHouse https://foro.seguridadwireless.net/openwrt/router-tp-link-wdr3600-brickeado-tras-instalar-openwrt/msg318687/#msg318687 pero estoy teniendo problemas...

Siguiendo las instrucciones del post de SinHouse, al encender el router, configurando el software TeraTerm como 115200 8 N 1 N, me salen una serie de caracteres extraños al principio, despues ya sale algo legible y se para... hago copy/paste:

He comprobado que configurando Teraterm como 115200 7 N 1 N ya no salen los caracteres extraños y se para en el mismo sitio. Hago copy/paste:

El caso es que he intentado varias veces a teclear "tpl" tras "Autobooting in 1 seconds" pero no logro la manera de que envie el firmware.
Estoy usando este usb a serie ttl http://www.ebay.es/itm/1x-Modulo-CH340G-adaptador-USB-a-serie-TTL-RS232-USB-TO-SERIAL-REPLACE-PL2303/131564268806?hash=item1ea1d76d06:g:8BgAAOSwd0BVtAFl

Me llama la atención que cambiando el Data de 8 a 7 bits permita leer los caracteres correctos y por esto estoy dudando a ver si el problema es a causa de este adaptador ttl que tengo.
Os ha pasado alguna vez? Se os ocurre algo??

Hola de nuevo compañeros.
Ya he podido recuperar el WDR3600 ver1.5, solo que a través de otro metodo, que aunque ya lo habia leido por ahi y probado repetidas veces, nunca logré que funcionase... http://www.theoutpost.org/6-techy/tp-link-wdr3600-recovery-without-serial/
... la diferencia de que ahora me haya funcionado es que he utilizado el USB-TTL para monitorizar el proceso y esto me ha ayudado a descubrir los errores para enmendarlos.

El metodo dice más o menos que encendiendo el WDR3600 mientras se mantiene pulsado el boton "Reset/WPS" durante aproximadamente 7 segundos, el WDR3600 nos pedirá un firmware con el nombre "wdr3600v1_tp_recovery.bin".
Teniendo conectado el USB-TTL y curiosamente en mi caso y como os comentaba en el post anterior, lo tengo configurado a 115200 7 N 1, me aparece lo siguiente:

Subo aqui el archivo 'wdr3600v1_tp_recovery.bin' por el que está preguntando el router:

Pues nada, a partir de esta información todo ha sido muy sencillo.
-Cambio la IP de la tarjeta ethernet del ordenador y pongo esta IP fija:

Netmask: 255.255.255.0
-Arranco un programa TFTP, le indico esta IP y donde se encuentra el archivo del firmware 'wdr3600v1_tp_recovery.bin'.
-Enciendo el router manteniendo pulsado el boton "Reset/WPS" durante aproximadamente 7 segundos.
.... y mira por donde, ya se traga el firmware.

Añadir que al principio del proceso me sucedió una pequeña jodienda..... en un momento dado del proceso aparecía algo similar a esto:

La solución la pude encontrar en un comentario que un usuario habia dejado debajo de este video de youtube:

I came upon this solution because when Uboot tried loading the image file I would get a "Loading: T T T T T T T T T T (...) Retry count exceeded; starting again" error. after making the changes to my NIC it worked great.
Es decir que si os sucede esto la solución es cambiar manualmente la configuración del hardware de la ethernet, de Autonegotiation a 100 Full Duplex.

En mi caso que uso un Macbook Pro (MacOS 10.13.1) como me ha funcionado es dejando el hardware ethernet configurado asi:
