Vuenas e configurado el router como neutro, en la otra punta de la casa todo va bien. El problema que si conecto el rj45 en el wan no se ve samba en la raspberry, pero si lo conecto en el lan si pero no da internet.
Al guna solucion

Trasteando, resulta que me he cargado la wifi del router (no físicamente, sino en el firmware).
Recordé que al HG556a se le podía recuperar la wifi restaurando la cal_data desde otro firmware que había en un tutorial...
Pero no he encontrado ningún tutorial similar para este router....

¿Alguien podría pasarme el cal_data de su AR5381u ?
Supongo que usando el mismo método del tutorial del HG556a pero con este cal_data, funcionará. O al menos, eso espero.

Según la página oficial de OpenWrt, la calibración wifi de ese router no está en EEPROM ni en partición.

Gracias por la respuesta.

Perdona, pero no sé a qué te refieres, estoy instalando firmware ya compilado, no haciendo uno nuevo. ...

Este router lo tenía por ahí en un armario y haciendo limpieza  ^-^ lo he mirado y no sale la opción wifi en el menú de Network...
Recuerdo que es posible que, haciendo una prueba tonta, le haya flasheado algún archivo absurdo como un mp3 (o cualquiera), simplemente para demostrar que se podía recuperar mediante el botón de reset y el reflasheo por defecto (método maravillosamente sencillo de recuperación). Y creo que a partir de ahí ya me desapareció la wifi.

¿Se te ocurre cómo arreglarlo  ¿si es posible?? Si no, tampoco es ninguna ruina, más que nada es curiosidad.

Ahora me ha pasado algo más raro aún.  ???

He flasheado uno de los que se supone que son firmware original oficial de jazztel ...
Y creo que se ha quedado frito el router. No se enciende ni el led de power, me marca cable de red desconectado ...
 Voy a ver si el trafo sigue dando corriente con un multímetro a ver si fuera eso...

Vale, creo que ya sé qué ha pasado. He comprobado el transofrmador y funciona bien, luego lo he vuelto a enchifar al router y ya se enciende.

Ha debido de ser que se ha recalentado, porque lo tenía justo detrás del portátil, soltándole el aire caliente al pobre. Al haberlo desenchufado un rato, se ha refrescado y vuelve a funcionar.

Sin embargo, al flashear el firmware de jazztel, se queda en boot-loop todo el rato, ni idea de por qué. Voy a buscar más firmwares a ver.

EDITO: buscar otros firmwares no tiene sentido, Pepe, céntrate. Los firmwares probados son (en teoría) correctos. Además, el método de flasheo también es correcto. Ambas cuales cosas me hace desistir hasta nueva pista o idea que probar.

El router funciona bien con openwrt, pero sin wifi.
Al flashearlo con firmware de jazztel, entra en boot loop infinito.

¿Hay mensajes de que se encuentre la wifi en los logs de arranque?

Pon la salida de dmesg en lugar de logread.

¿Has probado con firmwares alternativos a ver si arreglan algo?
En la página oficial de OpenWrt hay un firmware para Netcomm que se supone es compatible. ¿Has probado?
El equipo es parecido al AR-5387u. ¿Has probado algún firmware del AR-5387u?

Buceando por ahí he encontrado un firmware "AR-5382u-A731-406CTL-T01_R08.bin", pero no sé si funcionará o solucionará algo. Puede que corrija algo en la NVRAM.

No se me ocurre mucho más.

Puede que tenga quemado el wifi y en el firmware original daría un error y se reiniciaría. Mientras que OpenWrt es más modular y tolerante a errores leves por lo que sigue adelante.

De todas formas Barrier Breaker es demasiado antigua. Prueba una versión más reciente como la 19.07 ó 21.02:

Hola, perdonad por la tardanza en contestar.

Llevaba tiempo fuera de casa, y al volver, he ido a encender el router.... y ni tan siquiera se enciende, los leds ni se encienden. Y esta vez estaba frío.

Creo que lo dejo ya por router físicamente roto. Me imagino que tendrá algo dañado de la placa o yoquesé.

Gracias de todas formas por el interés.
