Puertos ethernet de wrt54g v2 no dan IP válida

Hola a tod@s:
Ha llegado a mis manos un WRT54G V2 con dd-wrt v24-sp2 (09/24/09) std-nokaid (SVN revision 12966) al cual no me puedo conectar mediante cable de red en ninguno de sus 4 puertos (Siempre me da IP no válida). Si embargo mediante wifi accedo sin problemas a través del navegador.
Huele a switch dañado :'( pero quiero descartar que sea cosa del firmware y me gustaría saber si se puede actualizar a otra versión de dd-wrt a través del navegador mediante wifi.
Ya le hice un hard reset por higiene. Comprobé cables de red y en varios PCs(W7 y XP). Los Led de los puertos se encienden y dan actividad cuando lo conecto al PC, pero eso si, siempre IP no válida.
Tengo USB JTAG y cable serial para poder usarlos, pero antes quisiera saber si por wifi podría actualizarlo a otra versión de dd-wrt.
Gracias de antemano por vuestras respuestas.
En caso de que no se pueda mediante wifi, si alguien me linkea algún tutorial de como poner firmware mediante serial o JTAG se lo agradeceré igualmente.

Le he vuelto a poner el dd-wrt a traves del wifi y no he tenido ningún problema al ponérselo a través de la pestaña de Upgrade de la interface web:
Lo malo es que siguen sin funcionar los puertos ethernet.. :-[ :-[
¿Alguien sabe de los comandos para saber el estado del hardware para introducirlos en la consola serial?
El otro día los vi pero les he perdido la pista y no logro encontralos.

Si le he puesto Ip estatica a la tarjeta de red dentro de la misma subred y no conecta, tambien he probado con otros pc y cables de red con la misma suerte. Te pongo el log que me da la consola serial por si ves lago raro.
