chrome icons there, but when i click it just bounces but dose not run noticed the last fue betas it has none worked i have installed beta 21 to hdd

how you get chrome ??
package manager or script-tool ??
script tootl have littel problem whit icons , because , desktop acees ..say use 256 size icon , and not work fine.
open whit kwrite and change de number 256 to 48

i test the chrome updater script and work perfectly.
i fix the Little issue whit invisibility icons , bause are using 256 icon size and need use 48 size icons for see all ok.

hi i used the updater and still wont work with the new xzm so i uninstalled all chromes and rebooted tryed again same thing i get icon on desktop but it wont load i tryed in menu still wont load?

try exec chreme on konsole, for see messages around.
i hope in console appears some error message for help fix this.
i run 1 million of times and ever work for me.

you use another user in system or only root ?
you try in live mode for see issue persist ?

i only use root user but wanted to move home directory and it dose the same in live mode how do i run it in konsole

hi i just tryed "google-chrome --user-data-dir= " in yakuake drop down konsole and go this "[12844:12844:0501/225710:ERROR:chrome_browser_main_extra_parts_gtk.cc(51)] Startup refusing to run as root.
and little google box apered that was deformed not like normal error window saying cant run as root anyway then i tryed the same comand in normal konsole and nothing happened very strange any thoughts? ???

try this
1 - start whit livecd
2 - connect to internet
3 - launch chrome updater script and wait he ends.
WHEN see desktop icon , try exec.
if chrome runs , you are broken hdd installation.
see my video , ... script work perfectly.

ni caso newuser, funciona a la perfección.
la única explicación que le encuentro al error del guiri, es que tenga un modulo previo de chrome, entonces no le funciona, porque es previo, y cuando le da al instalador no le termina el proceso y le da un fallo, porque el instalador no es capaz de quitar el acceso directo creado en el escritorio por el modulo anterior.
me he descargado la beta 21 aposta ya que el chrome es sagrado :P :P :P

no no no still wont work even in live mode tryed script it downloads but dose not run and have downloaded iso again and dose not work it beets me! :-\

¿has formateado el usb antes de cargar la nueva live?

yes formated to fat32 the only way chrome works if i first use the updater to get icon on desktop then use admin packet manager to download chrome after thats done then chrome will run the last time it worked from useing the updater alone was useing beta 8 i think i no it has not worked after beta16 for me

lol i do use for some things and its better but chrome good to ok if i dont use the updater and use admin packet manager to download chrome it says cant run as root how can i get it to run?

just went though some beta iso and beta12 works fine chrome updater works properly ther must be some bug in new betas?

man i HUNT the bug.
bug only present when start system IN ENGLISH , because updater delete all extra languajes.
I make a patch , this delete all extra languajes except , english and spanish.
