hi i am new to wifislack4.3 love the software but haveing problem installing to hard drive done it befor and worked but cant do it again i have been looking around at forums for a week now tyred this tryed that with no sucksees i done live install with unetbootin works fine but cant save anything tryed and tryed lots off things casper-rw syslink and cf sumthing file persistance but i did find good thread here sumwere about makeing dir2xzm but not sure how to work it am a noob to slax i did find slax7 but found out that is diffren distro but just cant seem to perfect it i have to keep loging bk on to windows as firefox is not in english i did add english xzm file to base as it was spanish i think that worked basicaly all i want to do is save my data after reboot hopefully sum can give me step by step i dont mind puting on usb but would like a choice pref hard drive but beggers cant be choozer

como pone en ese post antes de ponerte a instalar, tendrás que crear las particiones ext y sawp correspondientes

i have allready watched this and done partions but when i try to set up grub it dose not reconisize partitions says this is not linux partion i have tryed all 4 partions that i have 1 is fat32 one is ext2 one is ext4 one is nfts wich has windows 7 i tryed all 4 incase i had wrong partion but all fore it wont reconize i am have got as far as 90% then try grub no good what do you serjest

only support install on the first hd
/dev/sda
you need 1 ext4 partition on sda for example sda2
not support sdb , sdc etc etc etc.
fdisk -l
show your hard drives listed
see who is the first , ...but i cant install never on other , only sda
good luck.
or if you have installed other linux , like ubuntu , you try only install wifislax on you desire , and after update-grub in ubuntu , he recognize wifislax partition and work for you.

ok thanks will try after i have solved my reaver problem up to 90.90% dont want to reboot quite yet i looked about -L can be a problem used reaver 1.3 then tryed 1.4 spoofed mac on 1.4 got 4 nacks but still locked out found that diffrent applications gave me diffrent output one nsaid wps locked and another not locked dont no if you have come across this when i was using backtrack out of 12 ap's i could only crack 1 of them
