Problemas estabilidad usb con ALFA AWUS036NHA (AR9271)

Buenas, prometo que he leído y releído muchos hilos pero no consigo dar con la tecla de mi problema. He visto que tiene mucho recorrido y que sigue vivo en algunos foros todavía. En otros dan soluciones (como un hub usb 2.0 pasivo) que he probado y no he conseguido resolver.

Básicamente el problema es que el dispositivo usb se desconecta aleatoriamente del router y tengo que reiniciar servicio network (tengo una watchdog en el servicio crontab para que reinicie el servicio network si la interfaz wwan pierde salida exterior). Desgraciadamente esta tarea está saltando varias veces al día.

Quiero señalar que mi problema no es falta de detección del dispositivo ni de rendimiento. Ambos aspectos funcionan muy bien con la información que he podido leer en los foros. Es el problema de la desconexión lo que no he conseguido solucionar.

Gracias por responder.
He cambiado de firmware  a barrer 14.07 y sigo teniendo el mismo problema con la antena 036NHA ,después de buscar y buscar.Creo que es el controlador ath9k_htc que no va bien.busca información sobre ese controlador y veras los problemas que hay.Tengo otra antena usb con ralink 3070 y me funciona perfectamente ¿con estabilidad,velocidad,si desconecto el router que me da internet y al rato le conecto mi Ap 121u se vuelve a conectar sin problemas.

Hola,  yo lo que haria seria pasar los siguientes parametros al  kernel, al arranque o con modprobe

que viene a ser, deshabilitar el ahorro de energia, el descifrado via hardware y  el parpadeo del led.  tal como indican los autores https://github.com/qca/open-ath9k-htc-firmware/wiki/usb-related-issues el falllo podria ser ua mezcla entre firm defectuoso, host  usb que no le da potencia etc. Asi que lo del cable doble ese tiene bastante sentido.  Pero prueba primero a ver si deshabilitando alguna de las funciones tradicionalmente "problematicas" (hwcrypt) deja de fallar.

Parece que sigue sin valer, cuando lo someto a descargas de 1mbps durante más de un minuto se desconecta sí o si  ???

La semana que viene me llegará el cable doble usb, seguiré informando. Gracias a todos por vuestra ayuda   :-*

Edito: Aunque no pasa la prueba de "estrés"que indico arriba la de navegación normal, es decir, navegar sin descargar cosas pesadas sí que la pasa con las modificaciones que hemos hablado. Por primer vez en días ha estado funcionando más de 12 horas sin caerse ninguna vez. Ergo efectivamente ahorrando un poco de energía la estabilidad del la conexión va a más ( todo esto sin hub activo)

Hola,ya lo he solucionado,aunque no me gusta la solución ,ya que he tenido que comprar mas aparatos,con lo que por si sólo no es compatible.He probado con todos los firmware que hay para este router (Ap 121U). Y lo maximo que conseguía por si solo era una exploración ,nada de conexiones. Después de investigar lo que he hecho es comprar un cable con doble usb y uno mini usb para conectar a la antena Alfa NHA un usb va conectado al Ap121u y el otro a un adaptador de 5V de 2 Amperes y asi funciona de maravilla,solo con esa alimentación me funciona todo,no necesito enchufar el alimentador que trae el Ap121U.
Importante,si conecto el alimentador del router Ap tambien tiene alguna caída,a mi me funciona todo alimentado por usb con 5V 2 Amperes.
