Many thanks for the Beta iso.  I have downloaded the iso and am in the process of testing it.  My Spainish, though, is not very good.....can you tell me if the Distro will support IPW4965 injection?

There are some chipset and wireless commands on the menu but I am not sure how or if they would work for the IPW4965.

can you tell me if the Distro will support IPW4965 injection?

not now, but it can be in monitor mode without problems.
just type:

iwconfig eth1 mode monitor

and thats all 

if eth1 is the wifi interface 

In the future, the ipw4945 would support inyection, but now we have only monitor mode.

the problem isnt generated by the wifiway distro, is only for the intel module developing.

Yes, but you need 1 handshake and afther that you need 1 wordlist

aircrack-ng -w wordlist handshake.cap

Thanks for the fast reply. May I know where can I get more info for the handshake? I don't understand.
So in order to crack WPA you must need a wordlist? (Which is different from cracking WEP?)

i have downloaded the wifiway iso and tried to run it under vmware...unfortunatelly it does not load & start. if needed I can provide a screen shot or other details.

He estado probando wifiway 1.0beta2 y va de vertigo tengo una alfa500 y me funciona con todo excepto el airoscript ke no me reconoce la alfa pero me reconoce la del portatil. os agradezco el trabajo ke estais haciendo pos es una pasada seguid asi. congratulations.

iwconfig wlan0 essid alfa, después ya puedes usar airoscript

estas preguntas ya son cansinas de tantas veces que se han repetido, ver si usamos mas el buscador.
