Tutorial. Run the kismet in wifiway-0.8

[Hwagm]

1.- Select the directory /home/wireless (aplication: thunar)

2.- Change the permission of /home/wireless

others -------- only read >>>>> read/write

3.- Open shell (console) and write:

su - wireless

4.- Run the kismet
(direct - modify the /usr/etc/kismet.conf o indirect ex: kismet -c rt2500,rausb0,wifiway to usb edimax rausb0 with driver rt73)

5.- Remenber, si reboot the kismet, aply the change mode monitor a mode managed the interface wireless - airmon-ng stop <interface> with console in root.

but in wifiway0.8,you can't know the type of wifi0,if you enter the command airmon-ng start wifi0 ,the system not respond the type !

This tutorial may not found for this card, I see what drivers uses ipw3945 with kismet

Thank you, it worked for me too editing  kismet.conf for a USB realtek 8187
