Hi everybody, I would like to add that the problem is also with the HP DV9000 series. The ouput of lspci, is nothing! wifiway:~#lspci wifiway:~# Nothing at all is returned from the command. This is obviously the core of the problem. I know others have mentioned that Ubuntu works with this laptop, and I can confirm this is correct. I also have read that people have suggested to get the modules from Ubuntu and compile them for WiFiWay. I would love to help everyone but my problem is my linux skills are unfotunately not that good, so I don't know how to make WiFiWay recognise and initialise the chipset so it can see the IPW3945 and even the built in LAN card, sound, etc. Can anybody please help us? Thanks very much to anyone who is willing!!

Hi everybody,
I also have read that people have suggested to get the modules from Ubuntu and compile them for WiFiWay.
i dont sujest this because wifiway is other type of operated system. better download the new wifiway 1.0 I would love to help everyone but my problem is my linux skills are unfotunately not that good, the hardware detection should be automatic, without human intervention, but some kind of hardware are not good for it. so I don't know how to make WiFiWay recognise and initialise the chipset so it can see the IPW3945 and even the built in LAN card, sound, etc. its normal because its other type of o.s. Can anybody please help us? yes, donload the new version and prove it
